You are reading this tutorial because you would like to cancel your account and then you want to delete all traces of your presence on the platform. Well: you’ll be happy to know that you can act in a very simple way from Windows or Mac computers, using any browser to surf the Internet.

First, then start the browser that you usually use to browse the Internet such as Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari. Now enter pinterest.com in the address bar to connect to the official Pinterest website.

Then enter the Internet address that I have indicated and then press the Enter key on your computer keyboard to confirm the willingness to go on the official website of this social network. That said, if you’ve clicked on the Disable my account button, your Pinterest account will not be permanently deleted. In fact, at any time, you will be able to get access to your account again.

In this case, to reactivate your account you will have to connect again to the login page of Pinterest and you will have to type the data related to your account (email address and password); so you can get back into your account as if nothing had happened.

If instead, from the screen of the Basic settings of the account you choose to press the button permanently close my account you will need to confirm this operation by pressing the Yes button to send the email.

However, keep in mind that if you close the account permanently you will not be able to get back your Pin and your Message Boards as it is a permanent cancellation procedure. So you are sure and if you want to receive a confirmation email to carry out the procedure of definitive cancellation of your account press on the button Yes send the email when this will be shown on the screen.

In the latter case, to continue go to the email box linked to your Pinterest account and search for the email that was sent to you to proceed with the final cancellation of your account.

As you will be indicated in the email, the closure of the permanent account will take place only after 14 days from the confirmation which will actually take place once you have clicked on the link located within the same email that was sent to you.
